Back in 2005, a local roofing contractor saw a need for offering aerial lift rentals to local contractors in the Bow Valley region and started renting out the boom lift he used for roof installations.

As demand grew, he added more boom lifts to the fleet and, eventually, the rental business became his primary focus.

In 2022, the business was sold to another local roofing contractor, Justin Giberson.

Today, Justin continues to grow the business and its service offerings. Canmore Equipment Rentals now has more than 20 Aerial lifts, Telehandlers, Scissor lifts and a Semi/Flatdeck rig for hauling both the company's rental fleet, as well as transporting customers’ heavy equipment.
